Set-Up Prices
Most of your costs depend upon the type of processing you choose. We offer the traditional Point of Sale Terminal (machine) processing, Phone, Internet Virtual Terminal, and /or Web site and shopping cart processing. For detailed information as well as an opportunity to discuss the best option for your specific needs and the associated costs - give us a call. We will work with you on all charges and remember to ask if you qualify for any of our affiliate discount programs!
The start up fees are between $100.00 - $200.00 depending on the program. Any attorney transferring from another merchant program can request a start-up fee waiver, and there may also be additional discounts on the referral sites.
LawCharge Traditional Attorney-Merchant Accounts Options:
- Merchant accounts: the ability to deposit to both the trust and operating accounts; fees debited from the operating account only
- Bundled Program: includes our traditional attorney-merchant credit card processing, plus check conversion, plus a link on your website for the client to click and pay.
LawCharge Private Payment Portal Options:
- Client deposits to your IOLTA/trust account, including fees
- Client deposits to your IOLTA/trust account, can also deposit electronic checks; includes the payment link on your website.

** REFERRAL DISCOUNTS: When you refer 3 new attorneys/ firms to our LawCharge programs you will receive an entire year (12 months) of free monthly processing fees and annual renewal fee! Make sure to ask your referrals to mention your name and that you are the referring firm.

* LawCharge has a number of different programs, each designed to meet your specific needs. The costs range from $0.00 / zero dollars per month to $20.00 maximum in addition to your discount and transaction fees. Some of our programs will have an annual renewal fee due on the anniversary of the accounts; some will have recurring monthly fees and some will not have any monthly fees. All accounts will have an annual PCI compliance fee and an IRS Regulatory Reporting Requirement fee (you may thank your congressman for this gift).
- Transaction Fee: .19 - .75 Cents Per Transaction (depending upon type of processing).
- Discount Fees: Determined Upon Type of Processing and Receipt of Application. You May Call in Advance for a Conditional Quote.
